Young Minds for a Compassionate World

A collaboration between the Natural History Museum and Victoria Memorial Hall, funded as part of the British Council India / UK Together Season of Culture 2022. The programme grew out of the globally renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition and connected world-class alumni to young beginners.

I worked a project manager for Young Minds for a Compassionate World, managing the finances, communications, and administration for the project. The aim of this programme was to motive young people to become advocates for the planet by empowering to tell stories about local wildlife through photography.

The project include an intensive six-day workshop for the thirty-eight participants. They learned, not only the skills needed for wildlife photography, but also about conservation in India and how to edit together a portfolio of images that tells a story about local nature.

Their images were then put on public display at the Victoria Memorial Hall.
